Beasley Knob

Jeep Badge of Honor trails are all the rage right now. If you live in Georgia your only option is Beasley Knob OHV. Beasley is located near Blairsville, GA and is open to the public and can be driven for a $5 day pass (you can purchase at the entrance, just bring cash). Be sure to check the fs.usda.gov website for Beasley Knob OHV because they do close it during the winter months, and anytime that is rainy. Beasley is rated a 7-9 Difficulty Trail, and the difficulty comes in the form of slick red clay. If it rains at all the trails have little traction for climbing, and braking is basically a joke. The majority of the trail are series of big hill climbs, followed by slippery steep descents. It’s certainly a pretty area, with lots of elevation changes as you ride along. One of the main attractions is the rock garden which is short but it certainly a challenge and lots of fun. We have brought Jeeps on 33s through most of the trail, but the garden requires some skills and at least 35s to be run. You will see dirt bikes, 4wheelers, and side by sides so be aware of that if you decide to go. Overall it’s a fun trail system to test your rig, be prepared to get dirty, and spend a full day climbing and sliding. Below I have dropped a link to the trails I have run at Beasley and recorded on Gaia GPS. Also below is a video of us riding at Beasley Knob, be sure to check it out and give it a like. Hope you find this information useful and enjoy the trail. Remember to eat your prunes, and as always, we’ll be seein ya.
